I grew up watching renovations unfold on screen: walls coming down, sketches turning into finished rooms, the moment a client walked in and saw their home for the first time. I was always more drawn to that transformation than anything else, the before and after, and everything that happened in between.

 

For a while, I thought that meant architecture. Then life nudged me toward civil engineering instead, and for a long time I told myself that was the practical choice. But some things don't really leave you. After a bit of soul-searching, I found my way back to what I'd loved all along: creating beautiful, considered spaces.

I'm drawn more to the feeling of a room than the mechanics of it, though the engineer in me still shows up. I understand structure, and I think that only makes the design stronger. I care about beauty. I care about getting it right. And when something finally comes together the way I pictured it, that's the most satisfying part of all.

At the core of it, I want to create spaces that feel like sanctuary. Somewhere you can come home to, exhale, and let the atmosphere hold you. That's what SERIYA is built around.
